Would you like a side of lag with your lag?

Postby Revenki » Wed Jun 27, 2001 6:40 am

Ok this lag is just getting insane and making the mud close to unplayable. I know it's of no fault of the mud itself. I'm just commenting/venting on some of the frustrations I'm sure we are all feeling.

It was announced, but I was just curious as to how much longer this lag fest is going to last? I'm thinking it might just be in my best interest to leave and come back after the work is done. It's either that or continue to litter Sojourn3 with my corpses.

There was some MUD lag last night, but for the most part this lag is out of our control. Only Miax knows for sure when RoadRunner will be done switching over their backbone, but based on what he has said earlier, it should be over within a couple weeks at the most.

Hey Shev, you have any info on the server that the mud is hosted on? I'd be kinda interested to hear what it is (CPU, RAM, HDs) etc. Image
