XP on proc death

We're not getting any, is it supposed to be like this?

Its too confusing when there are 16 messages all in a row when a mob dies. The funnier ones are when it is stunned AFTER you get the death message, or the slump. Trying playing a mage and coldshield yourself. Then tank a mob that is about to die. It will usually burn itself up on your shield and then die. After it dies you get an "OUCH that really hurt" message. Just a confusing order to things.
