A differant fun one that I forgot to log is the strangle vines para-ing people when they are morted.

feh, they have like a 2 hit roll and a 1 dam roll (guessing) no worries, go get a coffee.

The ones that major para you aren't that wimpy. They chewed through my 450 hp (at the time) and stone skin in about 30 seconds a while back. And this was as a level 43-44 conjurer with about a 0 AC.

If I were a low level PC and tried to hit a mob with the equivalent level and AC that I had, I would sit there and miss the whole time. So much for the balanced combat engine Image

I find this reasonable - the vine's flowers might still sting you.

Same with para vine - ot's poison might still get in your skin, even if it's lying shredded, perhaps.

Some mobs do act strange when mortally wounded tho, heh.

I certainly hope you've never argued that hitting incap'd mobs should be near-automatic. If so, this is a ridiculous statement.
