I just did a little testing with the spell curse in the arena. It lasts about 2 mins, it drops hitroll by 1 and raise spell save by 5. It's pretty easy to hit but it's pretty crappy I think. What about making the hitroll dropped a bit higher? like 5 or so?

I disagree 100%. I think curse is plenty powerful. It almost always lands, and it makes it so spells that come after it have a dramatically increased chance in landing.

Curse is pretty erratic. It either lands like the first time or it takes 3-4 to get it. It isn't that easy to land considering the amazingly short duration.

You people and your arena checking. You are funny...you think that we can't make it so that things work differently vs players, or vs mobs, or that stats work the same, or that durations are the same, or that arena itself isn't totally different than the real world.

Not saying curse is this way, I'm just saying you are foolish to trust what you find in arena :)

Curse and hex both have identical affects on spellsave. Hex's duration may be longer, so increasing curse duration might be an option.

I've only died like twice in the arena, so clearly it's not a good benchmark for the mud itself. I mean, c'mon, Glorishan only died TWICE.
