Ward last about 2/3 the time of globe, and is failable. Its also 10 lvl's higher then globe so takes a lot longer to mem. Most chanters love the spell cause it frees them from double globing, and can help save the tank a nother 2-4 hits from the mob before scales drop. I always thought globe should avoid chipping and am glad we finally have a version that does.
I would love to see globe do the !chip also, but then elmentalist would have no reason to be in a group. Embodyment is by no means enough to bring one zoning. I love the fact that we can silence but cleric/druid silence last 2-3x longer and only used in the cases that they missed all theirs.
Anyway having failable !chip globe is by no means going to make chanters useless, trust me, I tried doing vault !chanter and it took almost 2 hours and several deaths. Chanters are very needed, elementalist just lessen their workload a bit in my opinion.

Post removed. Not worth it. I value friendships over game balance.

Well whatever. Gonna remove my posts. Not worth losing friends over.

Sorry I even opened my mouth. So much for being able to voice opinions on a board.

Malacar, you are always welcome to email me game balance issues at shevarash@sojourn3.org if you don't want to talk about it in public.
