It was invis, you don't have di. Therefore you can't see if spells land on it, except for damage spells. If MR kicked in you wouldn't see that either because of the invis.

Hence my comment about Magic resistance. Since the mob was invis, you didnt see the magic resistance nullifying your spell.

I obviously know its a damage spell *roll*.

Well, along those lines...I'm not at home so I can't post from logs but...I noticed long ago when I plagued the arena that often (as a level 20ish) I would flee at one hit from many bigger players (Targsk hit me the most), and I would get

*casted min mets or minor para*

*got slammed by a fist or some such*

or whatever...so did it really land?

When mobs shrug you don't see the shrug if you can't see the mob. When it does *not* shrug you are able to see damage. I think this is the way it's been for quite a while now.
