Snowflakes/Hollys

I got to talking about eq stuff, and I have a couple questions.

1) who out there has Snowflake/Holly rings.

2) did you get them on the quest or did you trade for them

3) do you actually wear them?


My answers are

I wear two holly bands only. I love them.

I did the quest but didn't get a band per'se. So I traded for a pair the day after the quest when evils were being stupid cause they felt that ame's were SO much better to a unique item *roll*

my wife and i each got a holly from the quest that we wear for lack of anything better.

She will wear eldritchs when she gets them, I'll prolly wear a second amy. biggest reason for her is that eldrtich has a hell of a lot more hps. for me, the holly leaves are a bit too christmasy for a bad ass warrior (id wear it if it was 60, i might sacrifice the 10 hps to wear snowflakes). No offense miax i like wearing my band, just not over better statwise eq.

They'll prolly sit in storage or be loaned to friends, but we'd never trade them.

I won a snowflake in the quest and promptly traded it for amy. At the time it was a more prudent trade for me. Everytime I see a snowflake band I miss mine a lil though

Snowflakes are awesome. To me they are symbolic more than anything else. That the gods cared enough for the players and the game to make them at all is a symbol of there devotion to the game and pbase.
