good fnat!

Postby Auril » Sat Aug 24, 2002 6:10 pm

After the evilraces were unable to take up the quest, a party of goodraces arrived to deal with the threat to Conquered Village. In general, they did a very good job dealing with the opponents Malar presented to them - only the final battle needed a little tweaking. Image

Thank you so much for having let us know when the difficulty level of the initial setup was just too hard, instead of walking away. As Malar had said, we'd spent four hours preparing, and it would have been very disheartening to have just purged the opponents after the first battle. It was very important feedback, and I definitely appreciated it.

Thanks also to everyone who patiently waited for a reboot to have the chance to do a zone or ten and to get more equipment instead of allow the fnat to continue. While some say that the fnats are too high-powered for the final reward, they don't mention the interest of battling uncommon creatures in unusual places and the opportunity to hone one's skills.

Again, thank you very much for participating - and trying to participate. Image

Uh, we're still waiting for that reboot that was supposed to happen last night when we finished. 64 hour boots are so fun!

There are *three* full zone groups going atm, and several zones are not done...

I would have rebooted by now frankly, but I can't seem to find a time when there's nobody int he middle of a zone. Image

A beholder with an unlidded eye is here.
*A dark shape of shadow is here, looking for target.

The leader of the beholders hovers here menacingly.
Levitating inches above the ground, this bodyguard guards its leader.
*A robed beholder confers with the hive leader.
You sense a lifeform nearby.
*The private mage of Marshall Glup is standing here.
Glup the ogre Marshall stands here poring over a battle plan.

Heh, plus the beholder with the guards and one with the receptionist.
