Had this happen a couple times. Here's my worst one yet though. You can follow the hitpoints to see just how fast it fell:

< 506h/749H 133v/133V > cast 'detect invis' me
cast 'farse'
Time speeds up suddenly!
< 506h/749H 133v/133V > You start chanting...
< 506h/749H 133v/133V > You're busy spellcasting!
Heh, Thanks!
Please remove the 1 second Time Stop
Not quite sure what you mean Iya. If you mean have I ever cast the spell before, then yes, this was on my level 50 enchanter who's had the spell since 2-3 weeks after the quest went in. I'll admit usually it lasts a decent amount of time, but every once in a while it poofs almost immediately. And no there was no combat in my room at the time, and you can clearly see I hadn't already had the spell up previously etc etc.
Thanks for taking the interest.

I was asking if you had cast the spell within about a minute or so previous to that, and had it canceled due to combat or casting an offensive spell or the like.
Anotherwards I have a theory on how it could have happened, but wanna make sure I'm not chasing wild geese.

Seems like time stop duration is anywhere from 1 second to a minute or two, though the bulk of the durations fall in the middle of that. Here's one, I'm ungrouped but was forced to prematurely terminate my previous time stop cause of stupid elementals attackin meh:
You are already standing.

Yeah, have you ever casted 2 timestops within like 3mins? Might there be a check as to when your last timestop was cast that changes the duration of the timestop you just casted?
If so, was it meant to be like that?

No, it's not supposed to do that. Unfortunately, none of the enchanters seem to want to provide the information.

I honestly dont remember either way. I think it's happened when I haven't cast it within the previous hour or so etc, but it's been so long, and I rarely keep track of stuff like that.
Still,it's not supposed to work that way anyways, and I always thought Iya was a code genius, I mean, he tracked down the elusive missile shield bug when no one else could! Surely he can find this minor inconvenience!

LOL. Ok, well I do have a theory on why it might happen, but it *requires* that it be shortly after casting it (and having it canceled by fighting in the room or something like that).
