This seems to be a relatively recent change, cuz I swear when you examined a full water container it said it was full, a whiles back.
Wierd, but I guess there's some advantage to having it as it is now.

Yah i peti'd about this a couple weeks ago, they put it on the list.. because yer right
it was never like that before and people are just noticing it.. specially when i cast create water on a tankard or flagon and it tells me that it is Filled, and yet its not full, its almost full...

I noticed the flagon thing a couple of weeks ago too. So I went and got a new flagon. Same thing on the new flagon.

No, more than half full would be pertaining to any value greater than half whether it be 50.000000000000000000000001% or 100%. All logic says here is that any value less than 100% would = less than full.
Ex: On a number scale ranging from 0-10 we would all agree that 5 is half. Any number greater than five or equal to ten would be greater than half. 10 is only the maximum of this number sequence but is still above the halfway mark so would also be considered, not only the maximum, but also greater than half. If 10 was not considered greater than half it would have to be < 5, which is a statement that would cause a calculator to explode in your hands.
On the topic of the water, I think it needs to say full when it is full. It is a small anoyance, but should be changed none the less.

I know lately you can use 4 barrels to fill tinker flagon and it still doesn't register as full .. when previously it was full ... even when filling from fountains it doesn't register as full .... i know when starting new adventures i like full water containers (specially as warrior or other non magic non filling classes)... if it is going to say half full all the time i might run outta water after a while ..
