Added MCCP compression to the MUD to reduce our bandwidth usage. While only zMUD 6.x supports this protocol, all other clients should connect normally. This is a compltely transparent change to players, you do not have to do anything :)
However, if you experience problems with it or can't connect to the MUD, please post here, and include your client, client version, and OS.
Thanks!

Should older client users of zMUD upgrade then? :-)
I'm using 6.62 (Idiot, yeah) so I won't worry but concerned about the other mudders out there...

Olit tells you '2000hrs on each of your 5 corpses'
Dugmaren responds to your petition with 'It'd be less spammy if you just deleted again.'
Lilithelle says 'to divine most peoples fates you need to read palms or tea leaves, but in ionari's you just read the corpses'
Alurissi tells you 'no, you're not safe, you're a suicide machine'

They won't be affected at all by this. However, the more people who use a compression-compatible client, the less bandwidth we will use, which is all around good for everyone. :)
