I can't imagine for how long he must have sat and played through that game in order to become that good. He makes Mario do some amazing acrobatics.

Would have been more impressive if he had gotten three stars.. but he ended up with 99 lives so I guess that's okay. I think I saw him run through a couple fireballs.

Which is more sad?

The amount of practice necessary to get to the point where you can beat the game in 11 minutes, or (the number of views of this movie) times (11 minutes) ? :)

That was crazy. Next video release: quickest time to beat the game with no whistles, then with beating every stage ;)

I don't think I ever beat the game all the way through without whistles, hrmmm.

Just some observations. He/She seems to be playing on a famicom on a controller with a and b turbo buttons. This enables better control (making it considerably easier) by not requiring constant button mashing to fly and float. And unless there's a system to avoid those random grab levels on level 8, he/she got lucky there.

Even if he used a turbo control for floating, that guy had mad skillz. Most of his jumps wouldn't use the turbo function.

He must see that game now like Neo sees Matrix code

I thought the scrolling stages wouldn't be much fun but I think I got a kick out of seeing him, without racoon, bounce on bullets enough times to get 1-ups. Wayyyyyy too much time spent on those stages, methinks.

That's still crazy stuff.

Just watched the one where a guy finishes the whole game of QUAKE 1 in 12 mins 26 seconds.

Bunny Hop abuse to the extreme.

Apparently the Mario thing is somewhat of a fake.
