Is organized RP dead?

Hmm. RP in general, including non god run has slowed down. Maybe RPSphere is busy trying to work on the rebuilding of BS so we can all play with that. I'm sure that's pretty time consuming. If you want to RP,, try it w/o the gods organizing it? Heck, there's times I do a who RP to see if there's anyone on I can talk to RPishly and there's noone on or they're perma AFK. *shrug*

Thank you very much, Delmair, for having noticed that things were really slow. Yes, it's taking a long time to do the stuff for the next campaign, and with summer here, I've been trying to have some fun and relaxation. I've got poor Eilistraee run ragged coming up with code for me on top of doing the work for the mud as a whole, and it's been hard to come up with ideas for the players lately.

Futaz did something that wasn't written up; he posted almost all of the session in his story, Houseless in a Housed City <http://www.torilmud.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16302>

I'll be honest too - we've heard from a few people that there was interest in the last thing we'd planned out, except the only ones who turned out couldn't have benefitted from it (aside from the joy of roleplay, of course). It was discouraging, and thus a lot easier to work on the zone.

Who's ready to do some roleplay? If we know you're interested, we can find something reasonable to run...

Fen and Ticarios was *not* 5 to 1...unless you consider Ticarios' penchant for talking big.

I loved disembarking from the ferry after we'd killed the silversaan, seeing you and the "priest" both panic, and you run off like a little girl...bahaha. Fen and Ticarios nailed you 2-3 rooms away from the fight. :P

Nilan and I have been pursuing the RP that was intiated with me we have been a little tardy in posting those sessions.

I have posted Stoneforge Pt. 2 and am working on Pt. 4 and have logs for parts 5 and 6.

I may have to prod Nilan to post his Rp stories.

Anyway, Auril and Eilistraee (appearing in alphabetical order *wink*) are doing a fine job IMHO. Epic campaigns like the last one the players were run through take quite some time to map out and plan, or else they'll dissolve into the 5 million sessions at once like we had towards the end of the last one.
