Stoopid people tricks

Postby Ambar » Wed Dec 28, 2005 9:34 pm

I know tecchies and pizza delivery guys probably have the market cornered, but ..

I work at a bank now.. people are assclowns!

Person A: I'm sick of this bank taking all my money!
Me: Ma'am, you made a deposit 2 days after you wrote a check. The check TRIED to clear before the deposit did.
Person A: But I made the deposit why did they charge me insufficient funds fees! I am going broke from those fees.
Me: Umm, never write a check that you dont have the money for?

Person(s) B &C: We want to deposit this check for 9,000$. We want 3000$ in cash back, deposit the rest (check written against a different bank).
Me: Sir (and Ma'am) I can't give you that much cash, your account only has $1400 in it.
Them: We have banked here for ten years, why not!
Me: Well, your account only has 1400$ in it and shows a lot of recent NSF's (incufficient funds charges)

and why do people not realize the checks they cash are based upon THEIR account balance unless the person who wrote the check is a member of the same bank!!!

grr people are idiots

Wow thats hard to imagine. Back in the mid 90's Pembroke was like the Ghetto shopping area. I used to head to that side of town to go to the old arts and crafts store in the mall, but that was about it.

Why not work at a credit union?
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.

Applied at Navy Federal Credit Union twice, they never called back. Very surprised since I am a Navy vet and was a financial advisor in the Navy. In fact thats where all my accounts still are... *shrug* ..

Suntrust is a bank in the Southeast only, spreading out very quickly. Full benefits from day one, including vacation and sick days at 90 days of employment. Their whole training program rocked from day one, had to pass a test to even be considered for hire, then 7 days training as a teller with 10 days of OJT before I was let loose on my branch... they REALLY prpare their tellers for the real stuff.

This thread should be deleted so other people don't waste their time reading it like I just did. And all who have posted (prio to this post) should be subsequently banned and flogged. Death by oonga boonga.
