Well here I am posting again!
I hate to use Azzzmohazzzz as an example but he is the one currently on my mind so alas my current victim.
1st of all if I heard the story right and you refused to return to help the group with out being dragged out for a ress when everyone else was getting a revive well then I think that sucks. I know I only heard the other side of the story so you're welcome to correct me if I am wrong. I know that I just logged on this morning and have spent the whole time I have been on helping to CR the group you ditched and I think that sucks too.
I don't know where these people are coming from lately! My God I've said it 100 times before that this is only a game! People are getting too serious. I keep hearing about respect. Respect is earned! Not just handed out on a platter for whoever needs it. As least if you want respect from me that is. As for people treating people bad.. You're only gonna get treated as bad as you let someone treat you. People getting all upset, threatening to delete.. I have to say this even though it sounds mean.. I've been mudding for more years then I care to admit. People get angry and quit. Some dam good players. Even though they are missed by some of us there is always another player to take their place. It just happens that way. It will prove nothing.

Hrm, this doesn't have anything to do with Azzz, but I thought that Nitania's article was incredible on the subject of "It's just a game, people!"
I so agree with Todrael that this article is awesome (he posted it in his dsrising post) and gratz to Nitania for voicing all that I have felt since I started playing...

Yes, it is a game, and more important than any piece of gear or amount of exp you make here are the people you play it with. If you aren't willing to make concessions to those people then you are going to have a hard time.
It's unfortunate you decided to leave Azzz, cause I like seeing the evil who list well populated, with any kind of folk.

revive is fucked, i dont blame azz for not wanting to get a revive, unless he agreed to the possibility of being revived in advance.
i probably wouldnt quit over something like that, and im at loss as to why someone who always seems to bend over backwards to shift and help CR folks would suddenly decide to quit. you guys probably gave him an ass reaming and try to pressure him into doing something that would cost him several hours of exp. He'll prolly be back, he likes to help and likes to be useful.
btw downgrade ress quest (the clerics in group prolly couldnt cast it anyways but since i say it everywhere else might as well say it here)

Kiryan hush your face! I wasn't in original group as I previously stated so I don't know all the exact details. I made my feelings pretty clear in my original post. I feel like I need to keep saying that i think that Azzzmohazz is a great guy. He has a fun personality and is a good player. I think today was just one of those days. I agree with what he said about if it's not fun anymore it's time to go.
Well regardless I hope you stay on and don't let the silly stuff bother you. Some of this mud is clicky unfortunately and you can't make people respect you. You should do like me and not care!

kybrell, what i said was directed at anyone who fit the bill. i guess i shouldn't have said "you guys" and rather said "the group" but i didnt mean to make you a party to my comments if you were innocent of them, nor did i pretense to provide the only explanation for azz's behavior. I do not know if my comments came close to reality, but id wager he did get harrassed and for someone who bends over backwards to help people the ingrattitude can be staggering in ones own mind.
