I blame condense personally, it has these occasional glitches.

Doesn't look like he had condense on though. Looks like he didn't turn html off to post, but I don't see any real condensing there.

I have almost no condensing on for Gormal. And Bobi doesn't condense his own spells. I suppose it could just be a general condense glitch as I'm sure it checks each time you cast a spell. But its odd that this happened on both chars who have different overall condense settings.

I'd blame the current mccp compression routine, moreso. Especially since it has seemed to be affecting even standard telnet terminals, both with the lack of messages from the mud and with the ignoring of commands.

Again, could the mccp compression be bugged for non-mccp terminals?
