Oregon

I'm thinking of maybe trying to do this Oregon thing again. Anybody else interested in possibly getting together closer to summer?

I just got back from meeting a few people in Oregon last weekend. I'd be all up for doing a camping trip or something to meet some more.

Finaly got to meet Dexil, Grogu, and Pidibeple. Had a great time.

I would be interested if the timing was right ... I might be transitioning to a new job in the coming months.

I'll let you know once you have some dates set, would love to see everyone!

Who wouldn't want to come vacation in warm and sunny Oregon? We're back to single digit temperatures at night all week!

It was past time to upgrade from the goatee. That picture is a week or two old so its actually shaped and fuller now too. Regal, is the appropriate word, I believe.

I'm actually planning on taking a week or so this summer to go camping if people are into that. If I had my way, I'd take the boat down to Owyhee and go rock hunting around the reservoir but I might just backpack in somewhere off-trail deep into bug country. Some time early to mid August is what I'm eying right now.

If you mean tick infested "bug country" then ... I'm not supportive. I had a buddy extensively plan a 2 week pacific coast hike and he cancelled it 2 days in because of the ticks. He is not a quitter by nature, but also isn't pig headed or stubborn... I've had ticks before (one for over a week before I found it), its not bad, but again just not a fan.

I don't see myself bringing the kids along either, but I could drop them off at grandma and grandpa's. Also, I'd prefer an event that lets me use the RV, but I've got real camping crap if necessary.

lastly, we should pick a time and place where we can have fire. August is probably going to be on red danger which pretty much means no fires. I hate camping without fire. whats the point if you can't burn shit.
