I am from New Orleans, but no longer live there.

I grew up in Uptown, a few blocks from the street car tracks, attended elementary school at Lusher, and De La Salle for High School, so you could say that I'm a New Orleans Girl Image

Almost went to school at Tulane. No clue what the hell I was smoking that made me choose Baltimore. Food down there's better. Bignets and pralines rule. Mmmm...

That's cool. You must not be very old, Elseenas because as I recall De La Salle went co-ed not that long ago, about the time I was in high school. My brother went to Lusher for elementary school. I went to Jesuit High School, ror.

There used to be quite a few New Orleans mudders. Aerlinn, Benshar, Fayren/Altheria, Mytzle, Reaux, Tok, Kelendil, Tol, Laird and I am sure I am forgetting some others.

I spent 3 months last summer sweating my ass off while working at a refinery in Chalmette, does that count for anything?

Sheeeesh. I lived in NO for almost 35 yrs. Well, actually I lived in Chalmette but same difference. Finally had to get out because I couldn't find a job. Of course, now I can't find a job where I am so I guess I really pulled a boner...:P Corth, if ya wanna try some good food go to Rocky & Carlos down in Chalmette. Just don't look around too carefully. :P I know Fayren and Mikar still live there but no clue what other mudders are in the area.
