Hey guys ..
I just came back from one week of hiking (with "snowshoes") and snowboarding in the real life Jotunheimen in norway.
It just felt spanky to be in the real JOT hehe.. but i didn't see no damn frost giants or emissarys..
But i gotta tell you Norway got some really nice mountains. Pretty much as the "alps" but way easier to get to and stuffs. Also tried some ice-climbing and telemarking. It was a Blast!!!!
I just wanted to let you know i climbed the peaks of JOT and walked the REAL snowy plains I never reached any lighthouses or anything though and didn't even found a simple Priest to slay for a token =)
Cowabunga!

Real Life JOT
Bwah rethan ..
what sort of mountains does sweden have? =)
Every single mountain in sweden is very flat compared to norweigan peaks.
Well Except for Kebnekaise. And already been there done that. =)
It's kinda well known that sweden has very flat and wet mountains. Sweden brag alot about Sarek to the other nordic countries but all the climbers etc says that sarek kinda blows compared to places like Trollheimen and Jotunheim.
Another fact is that sweden has to make "reservat" (whatever it's called in english) to maintain an area in a good shape. In Norway your allowed to insert your own bolts etc .. it makes a difference..
Though sweden still rules =)

Bah. I had this long reply about how you mention mountain walking and such and I was going to say bleh, what about the women, but then saw you're from Sweden which is on par with Holland and Norway, so tossed reply out.
Ever try that Norweigian liquor called "Aquavit" or something like that. Good god that stuff burns worse that boiling everclear squirted in your eye.
Anyway, gratz on conquering JoT.

Aquavit =) Actualy I think it's swedish. I'm not sure though.
But it's not that tasty, but you get drunk.
Norway was REALLY expensive concerning booze and such. It's a luck that we brought our own.
Nothing like a Jäger in the hut in the cold =)
And the women.. Hey man, we had 4 with us. They kinda sucked though.. oh hehe not sucked litterly but.. hehe you get the point.
Hey does this mean I am the first and only one to solo Jotunheim? *snicker*
