Illusionists can easily solve the problem of you being aggro in bloodstone.

Your wrong yayaril, they can't solve that problem. Nondetect is failable, and for some reason most monsters in bloodstone like to attack you anywayz.

Bloodstone is a vile place. You don't want to go there anyway.

Oh, and it has many aggro-everyone mobs in there so that might explain the seemingly random attacks. And the guards will assist the residents, they don't care who started it. Image

bloodstone also used to be an incredible source of xp for the late 40's crowd.

still is for evils that arent dayblind.

Nond works in bs. Then you only have to worry about the normally agro mobs like izi stated =)

Altho I'm not sure if bs is considered the "evils" hometown as much as it was before. Tho technically I guess its the lich's hometown. I'm not sure that it would hurt to change bs back to a neu/evil hometown. I don't think goods should be able to go in.

I think it was made evil only because way back in the day ppl were running back and forth between WD and BS for gear on boot (and crap gear at that). But since times and gear have very much changed, I agree with Corth that the Barony Bloodstone is too restrictive.

I've gone with groups into Bloodstone many times with nondetect up and I haven't witnessed it fail yet, Rokub. I'll keep an eye out for anything to the contrary of this, though.

Also, even though the dwarves normally hate me, I spent about 3 hours the day of that invasion in Mithril Hall, and none of the aggro evil things in there attacked me, except when the nondetect faded. If it does fail, I've not seen it do it.
