Patch Notes 8/5/24: Ranks
Today's fixes are a grab-bag, with some adjustments for high level mobs and a collection of Illusionist fixes.
Patch notes
- Ranks
- NPC ranks have been restructured to provide a better progression. The new ranks are now:
veteran
elite
boss
champion
overlord
legendary
- These ranks are now visible when looking at mobs that have them.
- All ranked mobs have had their rank adjusted to fit the new system. They should all be pretty close to what they were prior to this change.
- These changes are only relevant to the following zones: Crypt of Dragons, Tiamat, Bahamut, Unseelie, and a few fights in Westgate.

- NPC ranks have been restructured to provide a better progression. The new ranks are now:
- Wyrms:
- A bug was preventing Great Wyrm classes dragons from receiving their HP boost from ranks.
- This has now been fixed, but it resulted in dramatically higher health for Wyrms, because it stacked on top of their existing health boosts.
- To address this, all ranked Wyrms have been moved to a new rank that has the closest health to what they had previously. They may still have their health adjusted, but that'll be done on a case-by-casis basis outside of this particular bug fix. Because of, well, math, some Wyrms do have a 5-10% higher health as a result of moving to the new rank system.
- Illusionists
- Mass Flight message fixed.
- Gloomweaver now stacks properly with multiple Illusionists in the group.
- The pets command will now try to auto-complete all pet names, so you can refer to them by their full or partial name or slug.
pets p shortcut for selecting powers added, so you can now:
pets p cat timely
- Change Self can no longer be cast in battle, has a 10s cooldown, and will refresh itself when re-cast. Hopefully this makes it a lot easier to use.
- The phantasmal echoes removal prompt procs have been fixed to only light up for your own echoes.
